Munroe's Island as Nature Conservation Area

The beauty of Munroe's Island is that it is now a still place for wildlife, a haven on land that has been allowed to flourish so that there is a definite sense of serenity and an oasis within the flourishing industrial/agricultural landscape on the opposite shores of the harbour. It creates and excellent edge between the strait and the harbour.
