Architectural artifacts in the super-modern world

Surprisingly there still remains the old which is not a relic or ruin. Slowly being swallowed by the sleek metallic giants that surround it. This sanctuary in the city still has enough calm presence to offer an oasis of silence in the desert of melted sand reflecting all but a few rays of sunlight. A timeless and durable presence through its architecture is something that every city needs.
