Entrances...

Aren't entrances fascinating. Thresholds to another world. The entrance gives a sense of what is beyond. They can be both barrier and invitation at the same time. Add to this the sense of address that a well conceived entry way can give; an entrance can make or break the success of the building facade. It also gives an identity and allows us the pleasure of knowing a little of what we may be walking into.
